I grow up in Italy where I obtained my bachelor's and master's degrees in Social and Clinical Psychology at the University of Padova. During my education, I had the occasion to study at Kent University (UK) and Vrije Universitait of Amsterdam (NL) where I participated in local research projects and experienced different cultures and disciplinary methods.
After my studies, I moved to Paris to join the SURREAL research project and start a Ph.D. on the environmental determinants of mental health and sleep at Sorbonne University.
My research focuses on the intersection between psychophysiology and environmental studies and investigates the complex health risks associated with urban living.
I believe our embodied self to be intertwined and embedded with the environment that surrounds us. My main goal is to examine this relationship and generate implementational knowledge to improve and preserve the quality of our living environment.
Beyond my academic endeavors, I am very passionate about the intersection of philosophy, politics and the medium of art.
